New York, NY—EmblemHealth, one of the largest nonprofit health insurers in the nation, organized and participated in holiday events across New York City. Nine EmblemHealth Neighborhood Care locations hosted toy giveaway events, while the Community Engagement Team donated toys to various community partners. As a result, over 4,500 toys were distributed to children in New York City.

Along with the toys, two EmblemHealth Neighborhood Care sites hosted farmers' markets with grants from State Senator Roxanne Persaud and Assemblyman Clyde Vanel. The locations provided over 150 vouchers for free produce.

EmblemHealth Community Engagement Team also held Un Futuro Saludable en NY, where Dr. Susannah Sanchez from NYC DOHMH discussed managing stress during the holidays. The event was streamed on Facebook and drew participants across New York City.
