EmblemHealth Opens Neighborhood Care Location in Elmhurst
The Neighborhood Care Elmhurst location will offer abundant resources to support New Yorkers' long-term health and wellness.

NEW YORK, NY – November 1, 2023 – EmblemHealth, one of the nation’s largest nonprofit health insurers, announced today the opening of its newest Neighborhood Care location in Elmhurst. The new site, located at 88-31 55th Avenue, will be located inside the AdvantageCare Physicians (ACPNY) Elmhurst location, a physician's group dedicated to elevating the quality and accessibility of care for New Yorkers. With four locations now open in Queens, Neighborhood Care provides community members with in-person and virtual customer support, connections to local resources, and free programs to support community health and wellness.
The grand opening of the Elmhurst location will take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on October 27. The event will start with a ribbon cutting, and the celebration will continue with a sampling of health and wellness programs accompanied by refreshments and giveaways. The event is open to the public, and tours of the new location will be available throughout the day.
Neighborhood Care Elmhurst will offer a diverse team of Customer Care Navigators who live in the community, ensuring that they can help customers navigate barriers to health in a personalized way. Individuals can receive one-on-one help to learn more about their EmblemHealth coverage and understand EmblemHealth plan benefits or for help choosing a health plan that works for them. The new location will offer support in English, Chinese, and Spanish. Community members can also sign up for our free health and wellness programs, including fitness classes, stress relief, health education, and nutrition workshops. Classes are open to the entire community.
