New York, NY – EmblemHealth is proud to have participated in over thirty-five community events in September. At the same time, EmblemHealth Neighborhood Care hosted a CPR course with the New York City Fire Department, a job readiness fair, and emotional well-being classes through the Serenity and Soul Well-Being Program in addition to their regularly scheduled fitness and health-based classes.

"Fall is an exciting time for many full of transformations including back to school routines and the return of increased demands on our time. Now is an excellent time to prioritize our health," said Ann Marie Adamson-Serieux, Assistant Vice President of Community Affairs and Engagement. "I encourage New Yorkers to ensure vaccinations are up to date and schedule a visit with your health care provider. This is an important part of taking care of yourself and your family. "

Events EmblemHealth participated in September include:

  • The 2nd Annual Harlem Care! Prostate Cancer Walk and Health Festival
  • Atlantic Antic
  • Junta Hispana Festival
  • Afropink and Survive HER Breast Cancer Awareness Event
  • Carnaval de la Cultura Latina – Queens
  • NYPD Basketball Tournament in Times Square Day
