With a more than 85-year legacy of serving New York communities, EmblemHealth has an unwavering dedication to caring for labor union members, working people, and government and municipal employees.
"Our city's transit unions are vital to keeping the Big Apple moving," said Karen Ignagni, CEO of EmblemHealth. "Heroes of Labor is an annual opportunity to honor the labor movement for their contributions, which are the backbone of our city."

Heroes of Labor began in 2012 in response to the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy.
