Submitting Claims for Anesthesia

HIPAA 837 guidelines apply to anesthesia claims. It is recommended that when submitting anesthesia claims in the 837P HIPAA Transaction, use qualifier ‘MJ’. Reimbursement will be calculated based on the time submitted.
